Participants will have time to think together about possibilities for addressing student needs through various partnerships and engagement activities. February 8 | College Access and Success for Youth with Experience in Foster Care
Youth with experience in foster care face many obstacles on the road to and through college. Many of these students struggle with homelessness, food insecurity, effects of trauma, educational instability, and lack of family and network support while trying to attend classes and persist. Educators and professionals on college campuses have an opportunity to provide increased stability, local resources, and direct support to students so they can meet their educational goals. This webinar will share best practices when working with youth who have experienced foster care and provide an opportunity to ask questions to learn more!
March 8 | Digital Literacy: Accessible Social

Accessibility is a common priority when building websites and web pages. But have you considered how individuals with disabilities are engaging with your brand on social media? Are they experiencing accessibility barriers in your content? Are there things you could be doing to make your social media more inclusive? This session will outline the easy practices you can implement to ensure the content you produce and how you deliver it on social media is accessible to everyone, including disabled users.

April 12 | Designing the New Normal: Hyflex Course Model Design

Students and instructors have returned to classrooms on campuses across the country with a solid desire to rediscover some normalcy following an extended period of Zoom meetings and learning a part. Instructors and students have changed since early 2020 and are coming back to the classroom with new skills and new perspectives on how learning can be accomplished.

As a result, instructors should take inventory and begin to blend both the design online and in-person together. Hyflex or Hybrid learning combines traditional face-to-face classroom instruction with online learning. In this session, instructors will learn tools to help them through this process, focusing on enabling, engaging, evaluating, and extending their course model.
